About the Guildmaster Award

Since 2005, GuildQuality has been a third-party customer satisfaction surveying company that has presented the Guildmaster Award to honor home-building, remodeling, and service professionals who consistently deliver exceptional customer experiences. Now in its 21st year, the Guildmaster Award honors top-performing companies based on survey responses from verified clients.

Unlike many awards that rely on nominations or public votes, the Guildmaster is based on customer satisfaction surveys. This award is meaningful to us because it comes directly from the clients we serve. To achieve this award, recipients must meet strict benchmarks backed by real customer experiences.

To qualify, companies must:

Achieve a 90% or higher recommendation rate from surveyed customers
Complete a minimum number of customer satisfaction surveys
Receive high ratings for communication, professionalism, and overall value
Receive a 50%+ response rate on survey requests or deliver consistent data submissions for 12 consecutive weeks
Demonstrate high performance in key categories such as communication, cleanliness, value, and professionalism
Maintain an active GuildQuality membership in good standing throughout the year

Earning the Highest Distinction

To encourage the highest level of customer service, GuildQuality offers 2 levels of distinction in addition to the baseline Guildmaster Award. Members who receive a recommendation rate between 95.0% and 97.9% receive Guildmaster with Distinction. Members who receive a recommendation rate between 98.0% and 100% receive Guildmaster with Highest Distinction.

Colorado Commercial & Residential Painting was honored with the most prestigious designation, the Guildmaster Award with Highest Distinction, for maintaining a cumulative customer recommendation rating between 98 and 100%.

Life at our house is full of energy, with four kids, a dog, a cat, and a rotating cast of fish (turns out they’re not the easiest pets to keep alive). Thankfully, my wife Erin and I somehow manage to stay afloat. I’m a proud graduate of Vanderbilt University and have been fortunate to live and work across the country, gaining valuable experiences along the way. When I’m not working, I enjoy making the most of Colorado’s beautiful outdoors, catching up with friends and family, following sports, especially European football, and exploring Boulder’s fantastic craft beer scene. Colorado Painters did a great job with very clean and professional detailed look. They were very responsive to our timing needs, requirements and scheduling . Stephen, Ben, the paint teams and Jordan came together and provided a very nice paint job to finish out our sizable garage at a very very reasonable and effective price. Colorado Painting was great to work with. Their team was professional and fast. Their caulking and siding repair before painting stopped a leak we had around a sliding glass door. And the whole house paint job looks great! Also, our deck paint was peeling and the wood was chipping. They replaced a floor board in our deck and patched up holes and then painted and our deck looks brand new again!

We had an amazing experience with Colorado Commercial & Residential Painting! We had a pretty big interior painting project with some drywall repair that we needed done. Ben, oversaw the project and did a great job checking in with me and the crew several times a day to see if things were going smoothly or if we needed anything. Leo led his painting crew and we couldn't be more pleased with his attention to detail! He did an excellent job with the drywall repairs, we can barely notice there was even a problem to begin with. He and his crew did a great job protecting our newly carpeted floors as well as all our furniture. Thanks for taking your time and doing such a great job! Extremely satisfied with my experience! Eric, Jordan, Ben all kept in communication throughout the process phenomenally, and answered any questions i had as we went along in the process. Leo and his crew showed up daily at 8am. Did several siding, trim and soffit repairs that needed to be done and the prep work was detailed. The painting job itself i couldn’t be happier with. We love looking at our home and the excellent job the crew did to make sure it was done right. My property was left neat and clean each night that they left and trash was bagged and removed daily. Highly recommend this company. They went out of their way to make sure we were happy before taking payment. Would use again without hesitation!
